The Box of Good and Evil
These are the final character designs from my latest class project! We were assigned either a box of good or evil, and around that prompt I designed a story of problematic teenage gyspsy romance.
I just started my last ever semester of school! It's already super busy, I know it's gonna be a great one!

Marcovaldo
For my final project this semester, we designed characters and environments based on a short story from the Marcovaldo collection in the style of an assigned artist. My project is based on "The City Lost in the Snow" inspired by the style of Harry Clarke. These are my final pieces, I really enjoyed this project and absolutely can't believe I only have one semester left of school!! Ahh!

Robin Hood
This semester I was in an advanced modeling class, and for our final project we were able to model anything that we wanted! I decided to model the Robin Hood character I designed in my visual development class last semester.
The original Robin Hood assignment was to design a character for a 3D film, so I thought it would be a fun challenge to actually make the character in 3D. It was so cool to see my own character actually realized in 3D!
Finally, the most exciting part of this whole project is that I was able to get my model 3D printed! This was such an exciting process and I'm glad I had the opportunity to model my own character, and I absolutely love the final print!

The Call of the Void
My illustration for Barron Storey's zine project, my class's theme was The Call of the Void.
The lyrics in the piece are from this wonderful song, Car Crash by Wakey!Wakey!

Generations
My final piece for Barron Storey's "Generations" project, mine is on the evolution of bathing suits! We created six individual "bits" with no vision of the end result, then cut and pasted them all into one piece to tell the story of our subject. It was so fun to use such a different creative process!

Mini Sub
My visual development class just finished our "Animal Mini Sub" project in which we designed two characters - a captain and first mate - and the mini submarine they would pilot. I picked koalas for my animal. It was so much fun!

Food Cart
My visual development class was assigned to design an animal character with a food cart. Here is Oscar the desert-dwelling coyote and his handmade mobile water cart!
Treehouse
For my visual development class this semester we got to design a treehouse based on three short stories by author Gary Soto. Along with Soto's writings, my pieces were greatly inspired by the idea of a young boy's sense of adventure.

Airmail
For my intermediate animation class this semester we each had to create a story, design characters and layouts, and then animate it. It was a crazy process and a crazy, fun semester! Here is my final film, enjoy! (:
